100_0028.jpg100_0029.jpg
The tangram is a traditional Chinese puzzle. There is a sheet with an out line on it. You have to put shapes on the sheet until they make the shape. You have a certain one for each day. You have the answers for it on the next sheet.
GP and HC especially like the tangram they do it most of the time.

Comic Life Drama

For drama we made models out of big and small bottles. After that we took pictures and put them in Comic Life. We made a story out of them plus it was great fun. We made a scene for a book . We also based our drama on it. The book was called The Desperate Journey. You just have to take some pictures and put them on into Comic Life

World Book Day and the Mr Men!

On World Book Day we all made Mr Men books, either on our own or in pairs. It took us almost all day! We found that Mr Men books always had a catch at the end and almost every page started with the name of the Mr Man. This meant that we would have to match the author’s style.
When we finished we read them all to the primary 1-4 pupils. The Mr Men and Little Miss characters we created were called Mr Sporty, Mr Old, Mr Promise and Little Miss Confident. Primary 1-4 loved the books and in return we watched a puppet show performed by them.

World Book Day

We had our world book day on the 1st of March 2007. The theme was books from other countries or characters with a different nationality than our own. Lots of people came dressed up really well and it was really fun guessing what they were some of the costumes were Cowgirls, Aladdin, Zorro, Willy Wonka and Darth Vader. Mr Dickie came dressed as King Kong with the little doll and hairy feet but he didn’t actually have a suit. We wrote a story start on world book day. The primary 1-4 class  started it and then sent it to Colonsay. They sent it to Saint Kierens in Campeltown and then they sent it to Tayvallich and then it got sent back to the primary 5-7 in Kilchrenan and we finished it. The School Board are going to decide what the name should be out of the thoughts we came up with,  and which picture should be the front cover. The primary 4-7 class did banners to hang up in the class on one side it said the country and on the other side it said the country’s language.
